Yuchen Lin

I am an Assistant Professor at Hampden-Sydney College, where I teach Personal Finance, alongside Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, and Money and Banking.

My research sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, fintech, and financial inclusion, asking how emerging technologies can make financial markets safer, fairer, and more transparent.

I have also designed curricula that bring generative AI into the classroom. Whether in research or teaching, my work is driven by a straightforward belief that rigorous financial education and thoughtful innovation can meaningfully expand economic opportunity.
